BH Boutiques is a woman owned small business based in Milpitas, California. When you shop with us, you trust us with some of your personal information, and we take that trust seriously. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain language because we want you to actually read it.

 

What We Collect

 

When you place an order or reach out to us, we collect the information we need to serve you. That includes your name, your delivery address, your contact details such as your email address or phone number, your order history, and the messages you send us through the Contact page or WhatsApp. If you request a custom order, we also keep the details you share about your size, colors, and fabric so we can make your piece correctly.

 

Payment details are different. All payments are handled by secure payment providers. Your card information goes directly to them, and we never see or store your full card number.

 

How We Use Your Information

 

We use your information to fulfill your orders, ship your packages, answer your questions, and provide support in English, Dari, or Pashto. We also use it to meet our legal duties, such as tax and accounting requirements, and to understand what our customers love so we can improve the store.

 

Who We Share It With

 

We share your information only with the partners who help us run the shop: the Shopify platform that hosts our store, the shipping carriers that deliver your packages, and the payment processors that handle your payment securely. Each of them receives only what they need to do their job. We do not sell your personal information.

 

We may also share information if the law requires it, for example to respond to a valid legal request.

 

Cookies

 

Our site uses cookies, which are small files stored in your browser. Cookies keep your shopping bag working while you browse, remember your preferences, and help us understand which pieces customers love the most. Marketing Messages

 

We send marketing emails or messages only if you ask for them. Every marketing message includes an easy way to stop, and you can unsubscribe at any time. Stopping marketing messages does not affect the emails we send about your orders.

 

How Long We Keep Information

 

We keep your information only as long as we need it. Order records stay with us for as long as tax and accounting laws require. Messages and support conversations are kept while we work with you and for a reasonable time afterward, in case you come back with a follow up question. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

 

Your Rights

 

You are always welcome to ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct something that is wrong, or to ask us to delete your information. Just reach out through the Contact page and we will respond as quickly as we can. Some information, such as records we must keep by law, may need to stay with us, and we will explain that clearly if it applies.

We are a California business, and many of our customers are our neighbors here. California residents have specific rights under state privacy law, including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request deletion, the right to correct inaccurate information, and the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Children

 

This store is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has shared information with us, please contact us through the Contact page and we will delete it.
